Catavela is back!

Perched precariously on top of the far western foothills of Emilia-Romagna, the limestone rich vineyards of Denavolo offer magical expressions of native variety, skin contact wines. CATAVLELA is composed of Malvasia Candia, Ortugo, Sauvignon Blanc and Marsanne. Left on the skins for two months, it is textural, stony and full of wild aromatics and citrus pith flavors. One of our favorite orange wines in the shop, it’s engagement is all too brief.
